Summer Smoothie

This is the hottest year on record and the only thing keeping us sane and cool is our favorite summer smoothie. This recipe is our go-to but feel free to swap out fruits, greens and juice for what is seasonal.

2 Brazil Nuts
1 tea Flax Seed
1 tea Hemp Seed
(grind all of these ingredients before adding fruit + veg.)

1 Banana
2/3 cup Frozen Blueberries
2/3 cup Frozen Strawberries
2 Kale Leaves

2/3 Coconut Water
2/3 Berry Juice of Choice with No Added Sugar
1/3 cup ice
1/3 water if needed

1 tea Laird Super Food
1 TBL Liquid B Vitamin

1. In your Vitamix or Ninja, add your brazil nuts and seeds and grind into a powder.
2. Add kale leaves to your blender first then add the rest of your ingredients.
3. Start to blend on low allowing for your frozen fruit and ice to make it’s way to the blade, once everything is incorporated turn blender up to high. You will need to help it along now and then with a spoon or a blender plunger.
4. Pour into two 16oz glasses and enjoy!
